Sweat Once A Day Challenge & Benefits of Sweating
I know a few girls who run the other way at the first signs of perspiration. I mean I get it, sweat can be uncomfortable, stinky, and may not always be attractive. However breaking a sweat once a day, is really good for your body and mind. Sweat is the body’s way of releasing yucky toxins. This is great for your skin, helps speed up your circulation and metabolism, regulates body temperature, and can help boost your immune system. (more here)
Personally, I am not one of those people. I love to sweat from working out! It feels good and helps relieve stress. One of my fitness lifestyle goals, is to break a sweat once a day, every single day. Even if it’s a light sweat, because some sweat is better than no sweat, and some exercise (even short and easy), is better than no exercise at all. AND I always, always, always, feel much better after I exercise! So sweat your heart out!! Read below for sweat challenge:
Here is your fitness challenge: Break a sweat once a day, everyday. Yes, every. single. day. If you are new to fitness, start small, and set an attainable goal. This may be something like, “I will break a sweat once a day, everyday for one week”. Try for longer if you can! For active peeps, the ultimate challenge is to break a sweat once a day, everyday for a month! Good luck, you can do it!
